- Snowden sponsors Queensland universities' Mining Games
The UQ and QUT student mining games were held on 3 May at the Experimental Mine in Indooroopilly, Brisbane. Twelve teams of 10 students each participated in the local event. Snowden sponsored two teams and, together with other Southern Queensland AusIMM branch members, Snowden's staff helped the students off to a good start with a cooked breakfast - 150 bacon and egg rolls, prepared and served in 30 minutes, all before the day started, an achievement in itself!
